Antillean Intelligence, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in Curaçao, operates antillean.io. This notice explains what personal data the site collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. The small grey text under each section is the precise version. Both halves are binding.
what i actually collect
nothing, until you type something into a form. no login. no profile. no shadow file with your name on it.
Ordinary browsing generates no personal data. Personal data is collected only when you choose to submit a form.
the analytics, aka the blah blah part
i run posthog and vercel analytics because i want to see how the data flows. which pages, which clicks, where people bounce. no cookies, no fingerprinting, no ad networks, nothing for sale. your browser gets a random number that dies when you close the tab. i can't turn it back into you, and i don't want to.
Analytics runs cookieless, with in-memory persistence, session recording off and autocapture off. No person profiles are created and no identifying call is ever made, so events cannot be linked to an individual or across visits. Because nothing is stored on your device, no consent banner is required. Vercel Analytics is likewise cookieless and aggregate.
if you do fill in the form
name, email, company, role, and whatever you wrote. it goes straight to my inbox as an email. that's it. no crm, no database, no drip sequence waiting to ambush you in four days.
Form submissions are transmitted via Resend and delivered to hello@antillean.io. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form, together with the legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. The data is used to reply to you and for nothing else.
who else touches it
three companies, and only because they run the pipes. vercel hosts the site. resend sends the mail. posthog counts the pageviews. none of them get anything extra, and nobody buys anything off me, because i don't sell this. ever.
Processors: Vercel (hosting and delivery), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (product analytics). Each processes data only on my instructions and for the stated purpose. Personal data is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
how long i keep it
your email sits in my inbox until it stops being useful. the analytics is anonymous, so there's nothing in there to delete.
Correspondence arising from a form is retained for up to 24 months after last contact and then deleted. Anonymous analytics events contain no personal data and are retained under the analytics provider's standard retention period.
your data, your call
want a copy? want it gone? email me and it's done. no ticket system, no please allow 30 business days. it's literally one guy and one inbox.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to its processing. Requests are answered within 30 days. Visitors in the EU have the rights granted by the GDPR; locally, the Curaçao Landsverordening bescherming persoonsgegevens applies.
if this changes
i'll change the date at the top. i'm not going to email you about it, because i don't have your email.
Material changes are reflected in the 'last updated' date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
